This is a free template I made for my kids to write book reports on the books they are reading. Comprehension is such a huge part of reading. It is so important to understand these parts of a story while reading. This simple printable should help you get to the bottom of your child's understanding without much effort on your end. If you child isn't writing yet, help them fill it out and then allow them to draw a picture in the boxes or on the back of the report. This is such a fun way to see if your child is paying attention to what you're reading to them or to what they are reading to themselves. Bonus points if you have them use it as an aid for a presentation to a sibling, spouse, family member, or friend!
