You know when you are looking at phone or internet plans or something and they have several options that are all names something slightly nonsensical? You might have a basic package, a bundle deal, something "plus" or even, and this is my favorite, the unlimited deal. That is what I believe our lives should be. We are boundless.
Someone once told me, "we can't all be leaders. Someone has to be a follower in order to make the leader, a leader." Technically, this is true. I think a lot of blogs, influencers, public speakers, or even random people are looking to be the best. The obsession with success and being top tier often stunts a lot of people from starting the journey. I think the definition of success should be defined by your joy.
Earl Nightingale said that "success is simply an active pursuit of a worthy ideal."
Here, we are not shooting for THE best. We are shooting for OUR best. Aiming for something is enough to call ourselves a success. The world may see us as mediocre, but we are limitless. Being okay with being mediocre (even when you're actually excellent) is the basis for starting. When the basics are met, you can choose to add a little more. We will strive for more. We are Mediocre Unlimited.
